Kevin Borrup, JD, MPA, DrPH

Director of Operations - Youth Suicide Prevention Center

Kevin has oversight responsibility for the Fresh Check Day program. For over 20 years, Kevin has been committed to advancing the well-being of kids through a public health approach.

Kevin holds a faculty appointment at the UConn School of Medicine in Pediatrics and is an Adjunct Professor in the UConn School of Social Work. Kevin has been involved with the Jordan Porco Foundation (JPF) for the last ten years in supporting the evaluation of JPF programs.

Outside of work, Kevin loves to play board games and other tabletop games and is a frequent guest at gaming conventions across the Northeast.

Nick Marinelli

Nick Marinelli

Program Specialist

Nick Marinelli holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Science from Central Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Connecticut, where he also earned a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. His commitment to mental health advocacy began as an undergraduate at CCSU and continues today through both professional and volunteer work, including serving as a Crisis Counselor for the 988 Crisis Text Line.

Nick is a Program Specialist with Connecticut Children’s Youth Suicide Prevention Center, where he supports the administration, evaluation, and growth of the Jordan Porco Foundation’s signature programs. Since joining the programs team in 2018, he has played a key role in program development, operations, and grants management to strengthen and expand suicide prevention and mental health promotion efforts.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys an active lifestyle, often spending time outdoors hiking and camping. He is also a passionate cook and fills his cup while reading and listening to a great record.

Isabella Baldino

Isabella Baldino

Program Assistant

Isabella Baldino holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Hospitality and Resort Tourism from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Her academic background provided a strong foundation in communications, relationship building, and community engagement—skills she now applies to her work as a dedicated mental health advocate in both her professional and personal life.

Isabella is a Program Assistant with Connecticut Children’s Youth Suicide Prevention Center, where she is responsible for outreach, retention, and social media management in support of the Jordan Porco Foundation’s signature programs. Since joining the team in 2024, she has played a key role in strengthening program visibility, engaging campus and community partners, and enhancing the Foundation’s digital presence to further expand its impact.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys running and spending time with her family. She also shares her love of fitness as an instructor at CycleBar, where she leads classes that motivate and inspire others.
