What is Fresh Check Day for Durango, Colorado?
This is an event where the entire community will get together to promote positive mental health, educate the community about the signs and symptoms of mental health disorders, open communication channels to remove the stigma surrounding mental health, and encourage community members to reach out for help when needed – with particular emphasis on the younger population.

- Interactive Expo Booths focused on mental health awareness
- Pick up a Stamp Card at registration, get it stamped at 5 booths and win prizes!
Live and Free Entertainment on the Three Springs Plaza Main Stage:
1pm – 2:30 pm Meg Hutchison
Acclaimed singer and songwriter Meg Hutchinson began to struggle with a mental health disorder at age 19, but it never ocurred to her to seek help. For years, songwriting was the only way she could express what was happening to her. Since openly accepting her own illness, Meg has found that music is a powerful way to cut through the stigma and reach people about mental health issues. Meg is being flown into Durango from the East Coast for this event by the Jordan Matthew Porco Memorial Foundation.
